Alivion AG is a Swiss deep tech startup, founded in 2020 as a spin-off of ETH Zürich. The company develops portable, handheld sensor devices under the brand Alivion SmartSelect™ that perform near real time, lab level analyses of breath or liquids using a technology based on headspace gas chromatography.
Their mission: “Enhancing Quality of Life” - by enabling people to track biomarkers (e.g. breath acetone) that inform about fat burning, nutritional state, or presence of harmful substances - to help shape healthier lifestyles, support weight management or ensure product safety.
