Cogniguard is a clinical-stage neurotechnology company developing a non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapy for patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and early Alzheimer’s disease.

The company’s approach is based on a proprietary stimulation algorithm designed to induce hippocampal theta rhythm - a key neural mechanism involved in memory consolidation. Cogniguard has demonstrated a clinically meaningful cognitive signal in a randomized, double-blind pilot study, with independent replication in an external clinical center.

Cogniguard holds CE MDR approval for MCI and Alzheimer’s disease and is currently preparing a focused, multicenter, GCP-grade clinical validation program in Europe. The company’s strategy prioritizes clinical reproducibility and regulatory alignment as the final de-risking step before scale.
